The Farm Shed is taking shape!

The Farm Shed now has a roof and walls!

No-one is yet game to state a date for moving in but it will be some time during December/January that The Farm Shed East Coast Wine Centre will commence operating.

At the same time, the Bicheno Post Office will relocate to this multi-functional building. Use of the Post Office is diminishing due to a decline in the sending of letters and digital disruption (e.g. bills paid on line.)

In response to this, once in The Farm Shed, the Post Office will operate 10–4pm Monday to Friday.  There will be parking conveniently located at the rear of the building with easy access to the dedicated PO entrance (in case you can’t trust yourself to walk past the cakes, art and wine!)

Moving the Post Office to The Farm Shed will help to guarantee continued full postal services for longer than if it remained stand alone.

If you have any questions or concerns – please talk to us.  We look forward to seeing you soon and not too much longer now – in The Farm Shed Bicheno.

PS: The photo shows The Farm Shed in relation to the old Church. This was the architectural intent behind the design – to juxtapose two traditional buildings that were key to rural life on the East Coast, indeed, across much of Australia. This fabbo shot was taken from Whalers Lookout by our good friend Matt.
