Kudelka cartoon exhibition

The Farm Shed East Coast Wine Centre is proud to be hosting an exhibition of forestry and conservation-themed cartoons by much loved Tassie satirist Jon Kudelka throughout July. The exhibition will coincide with another of related cartoons by Polly and Chris Downes, and is being presented in partnership with The Wilderness Society.

Jon Kudelka, Polly and Chris Downes are three of Tasmania’s leading media commentators, using satirical art to cut through political spin and tell it like it is.

Since its election three years ago, the state government has gifted these cartoonists a mountainous pile of woodchip grade forest policy to draw upon. Come chortle at the chainsaw-sharp analysis of these acclaimed cartoonists.

An exhibition of their forestry-related cartoons was held in Hobart in March and in Launceston in April, and will now be exhibited across two venues on the East Coast in July.

Jon Kudelka’s cartoons will be exhibited at The Farm Shed while cartoons by Polly and Chris Downes will be displayed at the Purple Possum in St Marys.
