Autumn in Tasmania, and especially on the East Coast, often sees clear sunny days, ideal for outdoor activities, and cool evenings perfect for keeping cosy with a glass or two of local wine or spirits.
Here are some of our favourite things to do in autumn on Tasmania’s East Coast:
- We’re told that the surf really comes to life in Autumn
- Want a beach to yourself? You may well get it during Autumn on the East Coast
- Of course Autumn is vintage time in our wineries – a great time to plan a vineyard crawl. Call in at The Farm Shed to taste some of the less-well-known wines and put together your mixed dozens. We can even arrange to mail them home for you.
- With the summer crowds dwindling, it can be a great time to visit destinations like The Bay of Fires, Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park and Maria Island.
