Virtual Wine Tasting Week 16 – Sterling Heights and Over the Edge

Today in their ongoing exploration of the amazing drops from Tasmania’s East Coast Wine Region, Subi and Helen (proprietors of The Farm Shed East Coast Wine Centre at Bicheno) sample a couple of slightly unusual varieties, including a Petit Verdot and a Gamay, plus some Cabernet.

This week’s vineyards are located towards the north of the region, around St Helens, which was this week named Tasmania’s Best Tourist Town. With miles of amazing beaches, the Bay of Fires, plenty of sunshine and some amazing wines, it’s got plenty to offer.
